Conference Calls: Shine with School Breakfast Campaign

We will be hosting the launch for our first statewide campaign of the 2010-11 contract year, “Shine with School Breakfast,” on Monday, 8/16 @ 2:00 pm and Tuesday, 8/17 @ 2:00 pm.

The timeline for this campaign will be from August 16th - September 30th. Per your outreach target, all NOEP Coordinators are required to place at least one outreach activity during the timeline of this campaign, and include the slogan, “Shine with School Breakfast.”

Your options for an outreach activity are as follows:

1.) The “Shine with School Breakfast” posters that the Nutrition Consortium is sending to you.
2.) A template from the campaign toolkit that will be reviewed during the conference calls.
3.) Collaborate with a fellow NOEP(s) on an outreach activity.
4.) Develop your own activity and include the campaign slogan.

Remember, you need to use Child Nutrition dollars to pay for your school breakfast outreach costs. If you choose to make a blended outreach effort that includes food stamps, then you can split the cost of the outreach between Child Nutrition dollars and Food Stamp dollars. Please speak with your fiscal department to determine how much money you will potentially have in Child Nutrition dollars. (In the near future, this information will be provided to you directly through your Outreach Bank Account in NOEP Online.)
