A Note from the Director’s Desk

To the Greatest Team of Community Workers in NYS,

As always, first and foremost, thank you for all your hard work over the past two months. With the current economic conditions, your advocacy and support for lower income households in your communities is needed now more than ever. Many of you have reported a significant increase in the volume of calls and requests for assistance. We know how hard you are working, and we thank you for it!

As your Director, I also want to thank you for all your feedback through our surveys, focus groups, and talking with me, Pat, Sheldon, Andres, and others at the Consortium. You are represented first and foremost as decisions are being made about our program, and considering what are the best ways that we can become more flexible, more innovative, and even more community & client oriented.

In the very near future, I will have more updates to share with you. Until then, I wish you good days with good health, and we will be talking very soon.
