New Campaign- Heat or Eat- You Don't Have to Choose!

Attention all NOEP Coordinators- It is time to prepare for our third statewide campaign of the year: Heat or Eat- You Don't Have to Choose!

This campaign will run for six weeks-Beginning October 19th through November 30th.

Per your outreach requirement, you will need to submit for approval and place at least one outreach activity during the six week period of the campaign. This activity should include the campaign slogan, "Heat or Eat- You Don't Have to Choose."

For your one activity, you may choose to use the posters that the Consortium sent you, a template from the Heat or Eat Campaign Tool Kit (located under outreach materials), collaborate with a fellow NOEP, or develop your own activity.

Now that autumn is here and cooler temperatures are upon is, this campaign is so very important. As we all know, too many households are having to choose between buying food or paying high heating bills. Food stamps can be part of the solution so that they do not have to make such a choice.
